The Department of Physics was established in the year 2004. The department has well established laboratories equipped with sophisticated instruments, which fulfills the needs of the students. We have eminent and efficient faculty members with enthusiastic students. Our department plays a pivotal role in developing scientific temper among students. The department aims at the holistic development of students through academic excellence, employability and scientific skills.
Our department conducts guest lectures, seminars and conferences in every academic year with eminent resource persons in various scientific fields. The staff members are highly encouraged to participate in various academic and training programs. Our department provides a good academic and scientific environment for all round development of the students. Also we used to organize a subject oriented industrial visit for students in every semester.
As the Head of the Department, my basic MISSION is to run the department with regularity, Punctuality and in a disciplined manner. I want to insist that every teacher always maintain a good relation with students, and must be able to motivate them in their regular academic with more efficiency. The Department VISSION is to promote Scientific work with innovative teaching technique, to nurture the student’s talent in the area of core and applied Physics, and ignite enthusiasm, interest and passion in the study of physics in relation with placement related certificate course as a part of the curriculum. Also to provide creative and stimulating environment for the education of future generation of physics.
