Library is the heart of an educational institution. It caters to the information needs of its clientele i.e. students, faculty and staff members. It houses variety of information sources like printed books, e-books, periodicals, e-journals, newspapers, question banks, etc

Organization of the Library

The library is organized into the following sections:

• Reading Hall – 150 users can use the library at a time
• Newspapers and Magazine Section
• Stack Section – the books meant for lending are arranged subject-wise
• Question Bank Section
• Circulation Counter
• Digital Library Section

Digital Library

• The digital library with 20 computers.
• All the twenty computers have internet connection.
• The students and faculties are free to browse the net for their academic, project work and preparing themselves for competitive exams

Working Hours

• Working Days :  9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
• Examination Days :  9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
• During Vacation :  9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
• Holidays :  Sunday and National Holidays

Rules and Regulations

The users of the library have to adhere to the following rules and regulations.

• Users are advised to maintain complete silence inside the Library.
• Student identity card is mandatory for all Library related activities.
• The students are not allowed to use other’s identity card.
• Mobile phones and any kind of electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the library.
• Users are responsible for the books issued to them.
• Users are advised to inspect the book’s condition before issuing it. Any damaged is covered in the books should be brought to the attention of the library staff on
• Any issued book that is lost must be reported immediately to the Librarian/Library staff.  The member must replace the missing book or pay the cost of the most recent edition of the lost book, plus any outstanding charges.
• The Library is not responsible for personal property left on its premises that is lost or damaged.
• Users must display their files, file covers, books and others to the Library staff on duty at the check-point before leaving the Library.
• Eatables are not permitted inside the Library.
• Users should not reshelf the books on their own
