COLLEGE FACILITIES

The Canteen

The Management of the Canteen is directly under the control of College Administration. The Contractor of the Canteen is selected according to the available and suitable quotations. A well experienced person in food services management, his team is managing, the canteen of MCW. Students and staff of the College are benefited by the College canteen.  Menu will be planned by the assigned team of Management and instructions will be given to the Contractor.  The contract of the Canteen will be renewed every year. Periodical meeting will be conducted by the team of Management and Contractor in order to appraise the function of Canteen.The waste utilization of the canteen is efficiently done through the waste recycling plant installed in the campus. A bio-gas plant is installed near the canteen. Bio-degradable waste is converted into manure through this plant and the gas produced is used for cooking. The canteen and the surroundings are always kept neat.Only one common eating facility (canteen facility) shall be provided in the campus for day scholars, hostelers, teaching and non-teaching staff of the College. The management is fully committed to keep the quality of the canteen for the utmost benefit of all concerned.

The Transport

MCW operates buses for the convenience of students and staff coming from in and around various city. College is running bus services from different locations so that students hailing from any location within Madurai will have a nearby pickup cum-drop back point to board the college bus to come to college and to go back home. Parents also can have peace of mind while their wards are out in the college and need not worry about the traffic and driving problem. This transport facility is also used for various educational purposes like field trips, industrial visits and recruitment’s.

The Hostel

MCW provides hostel facility for girls. The hostel are inside the campus and can accommodate 65 students. The students in the hostel feel a home away from home. Students from different parts of Tamilnadu while staying together have better understanding and help to adapt different kinds of students.
